The Union of Artists and Craftsmen was established in December 1942 by a decree of the Central Committee of the MPRP and the Council of Ministers, and started operating under the State Art Institute in the name of the "Drawing Department". Later, in 1946, it began to train professional artists in the field of fine arts and the sculpture department, and on May 24, 1955, by purchasing the first conference of the Mongolian Union of Artists, and reorganizing it as the `` Mongolian Union of Artists ''. Mongolian craftsmen have set up their own communities.
