In the 1980s, Yongbo Zhao was one of the youngest art professors in China. Then he got on the train and drove to Europe to see the great European masters in the original. In Munich he got stuck, fell in love and studied again and became a master student with Robin Page. Then he painted his soul free: he brought everything that was forbidden in China onto the canvas here. And everything in the style of its great role models: Goya & Co. Yongbo Zhao spectacularly combines the tradition of Western painting with the history and myths of China.
