Arty JesseArty Jesse's main mode of expression is acrylic on canvas but she also exploits other forms of artistic communication through video, graphics, photography, writing and 3D animation. Her plastic research is solely based on the work of the portrait by analyzing the impact of the image on human expressions and behaviors. She works mainly in acrylic, using only the 5 primary colors as a base: this medium allows her to establish a strong contrast between a graphic and minimal form and a much denser and complex background. The stereotype is then confronted with the perception of raw reality. The reality of the living reintroduces its own mythology.
